CENTRE OF CRICKETING EXCELLENCE
OBJECTIVE 1
  • To produce and maintain the best possible facilities at the SYCET's ground at Blackstone and elsewhere in the County
  • To involve the Institute of Groundsmen and other infrastructure professionals in promoting Sussex as a centre of excellence for pitch preparation, maintenance and associated technology
  • To network with organisations committed to developing excellence for young people in sport
  • To work closely with other cricket -related organisations ( e.g. ECB and the National CricketPerformance Centre) , and with other professional sports organisations that operate in Sussex
    ( e.g. Brighton and Hove FC, Brighton Bears, London Wasps etc)
  • To sponsor international scholarships with Test playing nations under the ECB aegis
