This is a scheme , whereby the Sussex CCC members have been invited to become Friends of SYCET by making a donation of £10 per annum through their annual SCC membership subscriptions.
65% of SCC members have made such donations in 2007
The Trust is now trying to recruit a further 200 Friends who are not current SCC members.
With regard to those individuals who wish to make one-off donations of more than £10- but less than £1,000 - they would automatically become a Friend for the year in question with an expectation that they would retain their Friends membership in following years with the minimum £10 per annum payment.
The important part of this recruitment drive is the new Friends leaflet , the intention being that a copy will be sent to each person having made a voluntary donation to the Trust
