SYCET held a free ‘Introduction to Bushcraft’ day for youngsters aged 10-18 at Forest of Birse Kirk in Aberdeenshire last week.

Local boys and girls were given instruction in such topics as foraging for food, making a mallet and shelter building by BASC’s Jake Swindells and Eoghan Cameron, and thoroughly enjoyed their day.
