Following the success of the day at Forest of Birse Kirk in Aberdeenshire last month, SYCET held another free ‘Introduction to Bushcraft’ day for a group of local youngsters near our offices in Trochry on 8th August 2018.
This time, apart from shelter building, the youngsters also learned how to make fire with a bow and drill, courtesy of BASC’s Jake Swindells, and all had great fun – Justine Muir, mother of Max and Oscar, said “Thanks everyone involved in today. The boys had a brilliant time and have been telling me about it all the way home“.
