SYCET was again delighted to sponsor this year’s ‘Junior Macnab’ Challenge, organised by the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group (SCSTG) at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace over the weekend.
- Clay pigeons
- ‘Rabbit’ targets
- Casting for ‘trout’
There were nearly 200 entries over the weekend, with the Saturday and Sunday being particularly well-attended – some had enjoyed it so much last year that they were really keen to have a go this year. Coaching was again provided by BASC (clay pigeons), the National Target Sports Association (air rifles) and the Game Angling Instructors’ Association (fishing), and generous prizes donated by Seeland, The Glasgow Angling Centre, the GWCT and BASC. We had fantastic feedback from parents and participants alike.
- Cara with the winner of a BASC Young Shots membership and goody bag
- Ewen from Seeland UK with another lucky winner of some Seeland clothing
- The lucky winner of one of the fishing kits from Glasgow Angling Centre
This year, for the first time, the Junior Macnab is also being run at The Highland Fieldsports Fair at Moy (2-3 August) and we are again very proud sponsors.
