SYCET is pleased to sponsor the virtual ‘Junior Macnab Challenge’ for 8-21 year-olds, organised by the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace. Instead of hunting a stag, shooting a brace of grouse and fishing for a salmon, the Junior Macnabers will compete to ‘shoot’ a rabbit and a pigeon, and ‘fish’ for a trout. All completed game cards will be entered into a draw at the end of each day, with a chance to win some great prizes.
The event has been developed to encourage youngsters to take up shooting and fishing and get outside and experience everything the countryside has to offer.
