The sun shone for SYCET’s Young Shots’ Day (in conjunction with BASC) which was held at Kinblethmont near Arbroath on Saturday, courtesy of Mike Hardy and his team.
The eight youngsters had a terrific day, shooting well and safely and with two of them each managing to shoot their very first woodcock. They were shown how to remove the pin feathers, and all birds – a final bag of 41 including pheasant, duck and pigeon – were taken home to be eaten. Many thanks to Mike and his team for a brilliant day.
